Emmy Feamster
Emmy Feamster provides high-level administrative, operational, and policy support, and is a member of a small and interdependent team of professional staff that play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence and policy alignment for the Provost’s Office.

Her work includes senior staff support to various committees, as well as supporting the preparation and execution of the faculty and academic personnel actions.
She holds a Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Southern California and a BA in English Literature from James Madison University. She joined the Provost's Office in 2025 from the UVA School of Architecture, where she was Department Manager, and before that spent more than a decade at the University of St Andrews, most recently as Deputy Head of Education Policy and Quality. Her experience includes managing a university-wide portfolio of learning and teaching policies, leading a multi-year rewrite of the St Andrews Senate Regulations, and serving as clerk to senior academic committees.
