Clara Tang

Full Bio

Clara Tang is a Finance Manager in the Provost's Office at the University of Virginia. In her role, Clara works with the Associate Vice Provost for Budget & Financial Planning and is responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the Vice Provosts and the Provost Unit Directors. She assists with the annual budget process, serves as the point of contact for financial analysis, and supports financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. Clara also provides strategic recommendations to the Associate Vice Provost for Budget & Financial Planning. 

Clara joined the University of Virginia in 2017 and has held several key positions within the institution. She started as a Senior Internal Auditor in the Audit Department and later became a Senior Compliance Analyst at UVA Finance. 

Clara holds a master’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is passionate about leveraging data to assist her customers and drive business decisions. In her free time, Clara enjoys exploring new technologies and methodologies to boost efficiency and improve service quality.
