Cindy serves as the Budget Director for the Office of the Provost, where she oversees the annual budget process for all Provost units.

With a focus on financial stewardship and strategic planning, she supervises two Senior Finance Generalists, ensuring accurate and efficient management of the office’s financial operations.
In addition to maintaining fund balances and overseeing day-to-day financial activities, Cindy plays a pivotal role in supporting multi-year financial planning across the Provost units. She provides guidance and mentorship to unit leaders, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate and optimize the Adaptive Planning System. Her training initiatives ensure that all units are aligned with the university’s financial goals and prepared for long-term fiscal sustainability.
Cindy is recognized for her expertise in budget management, her collaborative approach to financial planning, and her commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and fiscal responsibility within the Office of the Provost.
Cindy is one of our long-term employees. She has been with the University since 2003 and the Office of the Provost since 2005.
